We’re two friends who met through work and quickly bonded over a shared love of yarn, needles, and the occasional “accidental” splurge at wool festivals. The Wooly Nook began on those road trips to knitting and fibre events, where we realised two things: We have zero self‑control around pretty yarn, and we might as well turn our obsession into something productive.

Between us, we knit, crochet, and now—thanks to Abbie’s influence—Rachel has fallen down the glorious rabbit hole of spinning too. We’re basically yarn‑mad, craft‑crazy, fibre‑addicted women who decided to build a business that lets us spend our days surrounded by the things we love most.

I (Rachel) am the owner of the business and you will find me in my lovely store and answering your messages online. Abbie dips in to the creative side and supports with delivery of some of the courses that we run … she can’t escape me now we no longer work together!!!!! Ha ha … she loves me really!
